Mail Operations Supervisor
A Mail Processing Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of mail processing facilities. This role ensures the efficient handling, sorting, and delivery of mail while managing a team of mail clerks and processors. The supervisor must maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the sorting, processing, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.

Ensure compliance with postal regulations and company policies.

Monitor workflow and adjust processes to optimize productivity.

Maintain accurate records of mail volume, processing times, and other metrics.

Implement quality control procedures to ensure mail is processed correctly.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards.

Address and resolve any issues related to mail processing errors.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Coordinate with other departments to resolve mail-related issues.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail to recipients.

Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

Keep up-to-date with postal regulations and ensure compliance.

Report and document any accidents or incidents.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in management or logistics preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, mail processing or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a divers team.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.

Proficiency in suing logistics and inventory management software.
