Summary
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Vice President of Human Resources (VPHR). Leading all human resources-related initiatives and functions, this person will drive the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the company’s both short- and long-term business objectives. The VPHR will be responsible for overseeing all activities, including talent acquisition, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HRIS, training and development, and HR compliance and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, with a proven track record in developing and implementing HR initiatives that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives and culture

Design and implement talent acquisition strategies and employee engagement efforts to sustain a high-performance culture and foster a sense of belonging and purpose among employees during periods of rapid change and expansion

Lead the talent acquisition function, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of top talent to support organizational growth and development

Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning, to drive high performance and continuous improvement

Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives

Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and best practices in HR management, and incorporate learnings into HR strategies and practices
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, or a related field is required; a combination of experience and education that clearly demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities may be suitable

A minimum of ten to fifteen years of related professional experience is required, with at least eight years in a leadership capacity.

Relevant certifications considered a plus, such as the SPHR or SHRM-SCP certifications

Strong technical knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and regulations, with a proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and drive results

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with team members at all levels of the organization

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and organizational performance
