Under the supervision of the Program Support Coordinator, the Residential Program Support Assistant is responsible for:
- Administrative functions associated with securing and maintaining housing for consumers.
- Resolving payment issues with landlords/property managers; rental subsidy requirements and admissions/discharges.
- Prepares regular reports specific to program operations, including data on lease renewals, rental subsidy renewals, and changes in status that may impact other departments.
- Ensures that all consumers' applications and income verifications are submitted to the Division of Mental Health Services.
- Maintains and updates lease files for all residential program consumers. Maintains current subsidy applications, leases and income verifications.
- Works with group homes to calculate residential service fee for new consumers and processes required documentation.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of three (3) years experience in an administrative, legal, accounting, or property management is required. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. high school diploma or the equivalent, plus four years related experience.
