Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our family owned and operated jewelry store. As a key member of our small, close-knit team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our clients have a memorable shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage customers in a warm and inviting manner.
- Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces that meet their needs and preferences.
- Perform light computer work, including data entry.
- Maintain the visual presentation of the store, ensuring displays are attractive and up to date.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Uphold the highest standards of trust and integrity, given the valuable nature of our products.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed, including inventory management and record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience is required; experience in jewelry retail is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, inviting, and approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail
- Trustworthiness and reliability are essential.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and other light computer work.
- Flexibility to work three days a week, including Saturdays, from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
