INVENTORY COORDINATOR SUMMARY
The Inventory Coordinator assists with departmental administrative and clerical functions ranging from accounting to logistics to helping support the improvement and development of operations.
INVENTORY COORDINATOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order and coordinate for materials to HEV warehouse.
- Build and receive orders from TMNBC for outbound shipments.
- Inventory Reconciliation and cycle counts. Research all inventory variances to actual on-hand inventory. Research all out-of-stock items.
- Drive forklift or other MHE to perform inspections and cycle counts is required.
- Print and inspect labels for outbound shipments. Check and inspect outbound orders for accuracy.
- Verify and provide root cause analysis for shipping and inventory errors.
- Process and communicate quality issues with materials to vendors or TMNBC.
- Inspect returns for quality and quantity. Provide approval for return to inventory or vendor returns.
- Quality inspections of materials and orders.
- Analyze schedule and production for on-time delivery to TMNBC.
- Update and maintain MSDS books with proper documentation and new items.
- Administrative duties as required.
- Inventory management or ordering materials and parts (preferred but not required).
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
INVENTORY COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal Inventory Coordinator candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED required with 6 – 9 years of experience in supply chain management or inventory control.
Must be able to pass forklift and MHE operator testing.
