Overview:
Vascular Neurology of Southern California is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our busy practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a background in healthcare administration.
Responsibilities:
Credentialing: Manage the credentialing process for physicians, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and timely completion.
Medical Malpractice: Apply for and maintain medical malpractice insurance for physicians, ensuring coverage meets practice needs.
Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, including calculation, distribution, and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Financial Management: Deposit checks, manage accounts receivable/payable, and maintain financial records accurately.
Contracting and Letters of Agreement: Negotiate contracts with vendors, manage provider contracts, and prepare letters of agreement as needed.
Coordination of Directorships: Facilitate the coordination and management of directorships and other leadership roles within the practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in medical practice management, with specific knowledge of credentialing, insurance, payroll, and financial management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, and external partners.
Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with healthcare management software (e.g., EMR systems).
