TBG is currently in need of an Assistant Project Manager for a real estate development company located in Brooklyn, NY. The Assistant Project Manager will complete tasks that will enable the team to deliver high quality projects within budget and on time.
Responsibilities:
- To support other Project Managers by taking on supervised support tasks on larger projects, as and when necessary.
- To manage project administration tasks. Create and maintain the project management files, logs, and documentation.
- To undertake any other project management duties as required.
- To support managing projects' financial performance, regular financial reports are utilized to monitor actual spending versus the quotation and forecast and identify spending anomalies.
- To contribute to the operation of the Project Management teams, supporting the continuous development and improvement of project management processes.
- Provide regular and timely project progress reporting to the project sponsors and stakeholders.
- To have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, develop good reports with both design and construction teams, and lead by example.
- To maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Safety, Health, and Environmental quality and best practice requirements.
- To maintain frequent and detailed communication with all team members to ensure clarity.
- Review and understand thoroughly all project drawings, design documents, specifications, and schedules.
- To ensure compliance with the project plans, documentation, and specifications.
- To proactively manage foreseen project risks and mitigate issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions.
- Execute the project lessons-learned process to maximize learning from all projects during and after execution and to improve all project processes.
- Resilience is required during the pressures of project delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
- 4-Year College Degree in Engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar field.
- A junior professional with 2-4 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Good people management skills, a team player, and being proactive with a “can-do” attitude
- Passionate to work in the real estate and construction field. Is driven, motivated, and ambitious.
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
