PURPOSE OF POSITION:
As the Strategic Initiatives Project Manager at IEM, you will play a critical role in driving and managing the strategic vision and initiatives of the organization. This position reports to the Chief of Staff and involves working on large scale projects tied to senior leadership priorities that will drive long-term value creation, and improve IEM’s internal technology, processes, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with the Strategy team to plan, manage and execute on strategic initiatives to drive cross-functional projects at IEM
- Develop project charters and plans that detail strategic initiative scope, objectives, budget, timelines, deliverables, and internal/external resources necessary for project completion
- Identify, manage, and document project risks that arise over the course of a strategic initiative and escalate/triage risks appropriately to key stakeholders when required
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and key stakeholders to gather project requirements, define user stories, and propose optimal approach to drive outcomes
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization
- Provide guidance and oversight to project teams involved in transformational projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered with measurable impact
- Report and communicate project statuses to key stakeholders detailing project related KPIs and progress to ensure project transparency and accountability
- Develop change management plans during project progress and after project completion
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor
SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
- 5+ years of proven project management or consulting experience, preferably in a strategic corporate environment or a management consulting environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights

Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
