Job Purpose:
The Quality Control Technician ensures the continued quality of fabrication department by determining visual conformance of fabricated assemblies through setup, calibration, and utilization of Nondestructive Test equipment.
Reports To: Quality Control Supervisor
Job Classification and Hours:
- Hourly /Full-Time Non-Exempt
- $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
- Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
- Option to work (4) 10-hour shift or (5) 8-hour shift
- Occasional overtime to accommodate business demands
- Onsite daily
Location:
Tigard, OR
Minimum Qualifications & Technical Skills:
- CWI – over 1 year experience
- Knowledge of AWS codes (D1.1, D1.5)
- Basic math, calculator, and computer skills
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with verbal & written communication
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Certification in AWS, ASNT (UT, MT, PT), ICC
- AMPP or NACE (coatings inspection)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors or in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
- Ability to lift < 25 pounds
Compensation:
- Employee (and their family) can enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.

- Employee will start with 130 hours of PTO not including 7 recognized holidays.
