The restaurant manager plays a critical role in managing the front-of-house (FOH) and bar operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
This is a tipped position plus hourly pay, perfect for an energetic and adaptable individual ready to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager (GM) in effectively managing and growing the business.
- Manage and create SOP’s to manage restaurant operations successfully.
- Order and manage restaurant & bar order guides, inventories.
- Lead shifts and oversee all restaurant & bar operations.
- Ensure operational quality, excellence, and profitability.
- Focus on delivering superior guest experiences.
- Resolve guest, employee, and operational issues with superb judgment.
- Perform all restaurant management duties as needed, including greeting, food service, bartending, and cashiering.
- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise restaurant team members.
- Ensure adequate and regular training for FOH labor.
- Manage scheduling, time tracking, and payroll for FOH employees.
- Foster a cohesive and motivated team environment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for bar and service supplies.
- Conduct accurate FOH inventories and ensure timely ordering.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies regarding conduct, attendance, uniforms, and appearance.
- Conduct bar line checks and ensure proper equipment functioning.
- Enforce cash handling and payment processing procedures.
- Regularly report and collaborate with other managers and the GM.
- Participate in hiring and maintaining vendor relationships.
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience in FOH and bar operations, with 6 months managing a full-service restaurant.
- Knowledge of CO state and local alcohol enforcement regulations.
- Experience supervising staff, including managers and team members.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Experience:
Previous experience in bar management or hospitality management.
Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail preparation.
Experience with catering services is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems.
