Compensation is base salary. We also offer Paid Time Off, Health & Dental Benefits Package, Life Insurance & 401K Savings Plan).
The Material Handler is responsible for handling and processing all types of material received into the warehouse. They are responsible for ensuring that materials are maintained in their proper location and are available for use when needed, while accurately processing paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities

Receive incoming material and verify for accuracy

Pick, pack and process shipments

Assemble, count, weigh or measure items and complete appropriate paperwork

Palletize, stack, place and arrange items in storage locations with consideration of their size, shape, weight, quantity, type, stock number and other storage factors

Process material and inventory transfers

Kit ‘work orders’ for assembly/ production

Assist the teams with preparation for conducting physical inventory / cycle counts while conducting daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records

Assist with production when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment

Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems

Forklift certified
-
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Ability to handle high volume of work

Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel

Experience with LTL and import/export regulations will be a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well within a team environment
