Berkeley’s Center for Cultural Humility (CHUM) is seeking a master's-level Outreach Manager with deep experience in social media management to help support our programming on cultural responsiveness and community engagement. CHUM is a pioneering training, outreach, and cultural exchange center focused on helping individuals such as educators, clinicians, and researchers build better relationships with professionally and culturally diverse communities.
The Outreach Manager will engage a highly diverse population of clients, aiding in recruitment and various forms of tactical and coordination support. Candidates will have experience in social media management, community outreach, ideally the visual arts.
The Outreach Manager position is a part-time, non-benefits eligible contract position that is mostly work-from-home (some local/statewide travel occasionally). The position requires roughly 5 to 15 hours of commitment a week.
