What you’ll do -

Carry out advanced preventive maintenance on facility equipment while documenting issues.

Identify root causes of equipment problems.

Understand PLC/HMI operation, use PLC/HMI interface to diagnose problems and affect proper corrective actions.

Perform research to identify better components and reliable vendors.
-
Troubleshoot and repair all standard mechanical and electrical components and detect minor equipment problems and correct them before they become major issues.

Repair and replace worn or defective parts on mechanical and pneumatic equipment such as press brakes, drills, valves, pumps, etc.

Work with machine manufacturers support staff to trouble shooting and repair machines.

Operate CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system)

Must have an understanding and experience in all phases of 110–480-volt systems.

Assist in installing new equipment and understanding technical manuals, read blueprints and how to purchase replacement parts necessary to make equipment repairs.

Maintains documentation according to procedures, assuring that all equipment documentation is up to date and accurate

Requires thorough knowledge of the functions and operations of all plant equipment and machinery to provide effective operation and efficient maintenance

Works with and mentors Technician 1 and 2’s

Performs routine building and facility maintenance.\
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and be able to reach with your hands and arms. On a regular basis, we will need you to be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours.

Qualifications That Move Us!
-
7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
-
Minimum of a Technical Diploma or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, controls or electrical maintenance

Computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel) preferred
-
Strong work ethic - must be a self-starter and willing to do what it takes to complete the task

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
-
Ability to multi-task and execute tasks with a high attention to detail

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers

Strong written and verbal communication skills
