HSE Technician - Industrial
SUMMARY
Responsible for field level implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines as instructed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for a particular project or worksite
- Risk identification and management, incident reporting and investigation
- Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
- Conducts inspections and assessments
- Record keeping and other general administrative duties
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong background in occupational health and safety
- Experience in training & development related to HSE
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with workers compensation processes and procedures
- First aid and CPR certification
- Understanding of industrial environments
- Knowledge of workers compensation law
- Ability to conduct report writing and root cause analysis
- EPA knowledge and compliance experience
