Prime Residential’s (Prime) Senior Project Manager is responsible for the oversight, planning, coordination, and administration of IT team projects and program management. Reporting to the Head of Technology Project Management and Optimization, this role will work in close partnership with Prime’s Business Relationship Team, leading and setting the standard for the planning, delivery, measurement, and reporting of all projects within their prevue.

What You’ll Do:
Project Management
- Partner with Prime’s Business Relationship Team to understand and document project scope, objectives, and expected deliverables for all significant technology projects, ensuring that business requirements are fully understood, and clear business-driven success criteria are established for each project at the outset
- Prepare and deliver project status and performance reports to the Project Team and informed team members, facilitating the successful handoff of completed projects / new implementations to the IT Support Services Team
- Provide ongoing project management recommendations and support to the Business Relationship Team and other stakeholders to ensure effective project management methodologies are employed even when others are serving as the lead project manager
- Oversee the scoring/selection criteria relevant to each project, evaluating products and services against the established criteria for each project to select the most appropriate vendor, product, or service
- For projects that have an on-site delivery component (e.g., office moves, remodels, camera installation, etc.) work closely with the Consturction Team and Property Management to coordinate activities and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery with minimal disruption
- Where appropriate, work with the Business Relationship Team to monitor post-project user adoption and satisfaction and develop mitigation plans to improve adoption and satisfaction where required
Program Management
- Work with Prime’s Vice President, Information Technology and Head of Technology PM & Optimization to identify and schedule internal or external resources for major projects
- Maintain and communicate the overall Project Management project pipeline to ensure visibility across the organization
- Coordinate communication and training on upcoming, current, and recently completed projects with senior management and the designated Prime Training Manager
- Develop and implement a post-project handoff process to the IT Support Services Desk team so that once new products, services, and processes are implemented, the team can effectively support them on an ongoing basis
Vendor Management
- Ensure that vendors considered are aligned to both the business requirements and Prime’s technology strategies and security / compliance requirements (e.g. Ability to meet insurance requirements, SSO, SOC2 certifications, etc. as appropriate)
- Review vendor contracts to ensure contract terms are in line with Prime’s requirements, including but not limited to provisions related to timing of delivery, pricing, flexibility, risk management, security, and compliance; work with Risk Management to ensure contracts are signed and in place
- Work closely with vendors and/or internal stakeholders (as appropriate) to establish a project schedule and oversee or personally manage project delivery against the agreed schedule
- Oversee or take personal responsibility for resolving any roadblocks or miscommunications to successfully deliver the project on-time, on-budget
IT Governance
- Support the organizations IT project queue and ‘in flight’ IT project tracker, to provide organization-wide visibility of the PMO & Business Relationship Management Team workload and priorities
- Work with the VP Information Technology and Head of Technology PM & Optimization to compile status updates and reports for the Senior Leadership Team
- Support program and project management processes, documentation, templates, dashboards, and report
- Support project management best practices and its adoption across the department, so that project scope and scale are fully understood, appropriate options are considered, and project risks are evaluated prior to implementation
Leadership and Talent Development (applicable as direct reports are hired)
- Coach, cross-train, develop and empower the IT Project Management team direct reports to consistently deliver excellent customer-facing project management services
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to attract and hire high quality and on budget team members
What You’ll Need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline; Project Management certification strongly preferred
- Eight (8) plus years IT project management experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of successful projects managed from start through to completion required
- Five (5) plus years of experience in a team leadership role
- Experience in/exposure to multi-family housing is strongly preferred
- A solid understanding of property management and accounting principles
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Microsoft Office 365 sharing, collaboration, and workflows required
- Highly proficient with extended Microsoft Suite (Lists, Visio, SharePoint, Forms, PowerBI, Teams, etc.) preferred
- Ability to multi-task, balancing several competing priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels internally and with external vendors
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve expected results

Travel
Travel as required to perform project and/or company related tasks as directed. Estimated at 10-15%.

Target Pay: $150,000 base annual compensation + 20% annual discretionary bonus (location dependent)
