We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join a dynamic team in Glendale, CA. The Project Manager will oversee and manage HVAC projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will act as the liaison between the CEO, clients, and other key companies.
This role will sit full time in the office in Glendale, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
● Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
● Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
● Conduct site visits and assessments to determine project scope and requirements.
Team Management:
● Lead and manage project teams, including technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
● Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure team members meet project goals.
● Provide guidance, training, and support to team members as needed.
Budget and Resource Management:
● Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costeffectiveness and efficiency.
● Procure necessary materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.
● Monitor project expenditures and make adjustments to stay within budget.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
● Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
● Implement quality control measures to guarantee the highest level of workmanship.
● Conduct regular inspections and testing to verify system performance and reliability.
Client Relations:
● Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
● Provide regular project updates and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
● Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
● Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
● Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
● Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the HVAC industry.
● PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
● Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
● Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
● Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
● Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Salary $110,000
