Solar Sales/ Canvassing Manager

Job Description: You will lead the charge in building out the canvassing sales team that uses our no credit check lease option with 0% escalators to reach an untapped market. The job will consist of learning our system on providing a no credit check lease option to help homeowners who don’t qualify for solar tax incentives or have the credit to finance a solar system. We also have loan options for homeowners that want to own their system and qualify for the tax rebates. Your schedule will be split between canvassing and working the Walmart retail location to generate appointments and sales. This role consists of canvassing and working the retail locations on the weekends to drive sales. Leads and appointments will be provided and self generated.
Job Responsibilities:
- Weekly sales meetings to practice, train, learn and go over short and long term goals
- Canvassing neighborhoods to offer our no credit check lease option that guarantees a minimum of 15% savings on their bill
- Canvassing a minimum of 25 hours per week along with attending sales meetings
- Working the Walmart retail location to interact and qualify potential customers
- Planning and strategizing what areas to canvass and talk to prospective clients
- Training new canvassers and sales consultants on the price protection program
- Logging all new leads in the company CRM and consistently adding notes as you procure the the potential client
- Regularly sitting and presenting solar proposals to clients with mandatory sales consultations on both Saturday and Sunday
- Learning and utilizing the sales software and CRM to generate proposals for sales meetings
- Signing up customers and collecting all necessary documents to move the project into the pipeline
- Calling data lists to set up appointments
- Following up with leads on a regular basis
- Running company generated appointments
- Hitting weekly and monthly goals on a consistent basis
Compensation Package:
- Competitive base salary
- Average $2,000 - $5,000 per sale for a potential of $122,000 - $250,000 +++

Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of solar sales and canvassing experience
- Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service
- Ability to negotiate effectively and secure commitments from potential supporters
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse audiences
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for reaching a broader demographic
- Strong market awareness and ability to adapt strategies accordingly
- Demonstrated supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team of canvassers
