**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient care and procedures.
- Conduct pre-examination tests, including vision measurements, eye pressure tests, and imaging.
- Provide patient education on eye care and assist with post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and test results.
**Requirements**:
- Certification or degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Medical Technician, preferably with exposure to ophthalmology or optometry. However, professionals looking for a career change are encouraged to apply.

Learn manual refracting, applanation tonometry, extracting a great history and chief complaint as well as being an effective communicator and muti-tasker, we are the top ophthalmology practice in the area. Certifications of COA, COT are preferred, and will support your growth plans with attaining them
1 year in college required.

You will be cross trained in multiple areas of the office. The main location for this job is Hanover, however we are expanding and Tech's can be rotated to other offices.
