Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Document patient information accurately
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Experience in home care, memory care, acute care, senior care, or dementia care is preferred
- Proficiency in medical documentation and charting
- Ability to phlebotomize is a plus
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Compassionate attitude towards patients and families
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with pediatric patients is an advantage
