Mission Hills Luxury Apartments has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Turn Technician.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Turn Technician works directly with all residents, property managers, leasing agents, and other maintenance team members to meet the needs of our tenants and support the overall team effort in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Mission Hills is looking for a friendly, motivated team player, and a dependable self-starter who has 1+ years of previous work experience. Schedule will include a rotating oncall schedule, and one weekend day. Maintenance Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Handling day-to-day building/maintenance issues
· Prioritize and plan for upcoming maintenance and repairs
· Ability to work with all management team and employees in a professional manner
· Must have proven ability to receive and give instructions and offer input when called upon
· Must keep accurate maintenance and repairs records
· Ability to troubleshoot building electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
· Able to repair and maintain appliances
· Paint, caulk, and repair sheet rock
· Remove spots, excessive water or damages to carpeting
· Work inside or outside in all types of weather
· Remove snow and ice from parking lots
· Ability to work with power tools
· Ability to get pool certified
· Must be able to be on-call rotating with other maintenance team members
Maintenance Qualifications and Skills:
· Working knowledge of Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to transport or move up to 50 pounds variable distances, the mobility, and flexibility to use ladders, and to access work in confined spaces, or at heights in excess of eight to nine feet. this position also requires hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
