Vice President of Engineering

Your Role:
As Vice President of Engineering on the SAS Platform, you will strategically integrate diverse engineering and program support efforts into a unified powerhouse. In this pivotal role, you will lead both the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Support Services components, making significant contributions to projects supporting the DOD, NASA, and the commercial space sector.
Responsibilities include:

Leading decision-making processes that influence business development and strategic planning on the SAS Platform

Applying systems engineering principles comprehensively across all lifecycle phases of our programs

Enhancing product delivery and innovation through effective cross-functional team collaboration

Mentoring and managing a dynamic team of engineers, fostering excellence in complex program execution

Direct involvement in developing and overseeing proposal development efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements
Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, with substantial professional experience in an engineering environment.

Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles within the aerospace engineering field, preferably on platforms like SAS
-
Proven ability to manage large, dynamic teams and oversee complex NASA and Department of Defense programs effectively

Strong background in military or defense-related projects, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Demonstrated experience supporting proposal development activities, particularly within the aerospace sector

Experience with the government program acquisition process
How You Will Be Rewarded:
Competitive Salary: $190,000 to $240,000, commensurate with experience and the responsibilities of the SAS Platform.
