Job Overview:
As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying dies and tooling to ensure precise part production. Your role is crucial in maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
Duties:
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve problems during production.
-Tryout and qualify new dies and tooling.
-Perform after run clean cleaning, sharpening & repair of production tooling and dies.
-Read and understand blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new tooling, fixtures, and machine parts.
-Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
-Modifies machines to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced within specifications.
-Work to continuously improve tooling and reduce scrap.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a tool and die maker.
- Experience in the progressive die stamping manufacturing filed is preferred.
-Die maker apprenticeship and journeyman license a plus.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong troubleshooting skills
- Team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
-Stamping experience preferred
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
