We are searching for a Social Media Marketing Specialist - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will focus on online community development and social media initiatives. The Specialist will lead in planning, monitoring, and advancing our organizations and affiliates online presence as it relates to patient experiences. The overarching goals of this position will be to interact with and acquire members through positive interactions on social media platforms and the effective engagement of our customers while respecting patient confidentiality and ensuring internal compliance regarding privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, social media, digital marketing, Spanish or other business field of study required
- 3 years social media marketing experience required
- 2 years writing and editing experience required
- 2 years online community development preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of online community management
- Develop innovative strategic plans for leveraging social media to encourage content consumption, build brand awareness, drive traffic to the organization’s web sites, and foster successful online communities with patients and their families
- Establishes, reviews and reports detailed metrics and information in order to identify, recommend and implement changes in social marketing programs
- Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community outreach efforts, promotions, etc
- Monitors and moderates all online interactions and conversations and responds when necessary
- Develops social media guidelines, content strategies, and best practices
- Works with IS and Risk Management to monitor and enforce social media guidelines
