Facility Charge Nurse
Job Summary: The Facility Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in leading daily operations within the Facility OR, ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and high standards of patient care. Collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing, this position oversees staff, coordinates multidisciplinary activities, and promotes advancements in nursing practice to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the Facility OR, ensuring smooth procedural flow and adherence to patient care standards.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to optimize patient care outcomes and safety during surgical interventions.
- Maintain employee/staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and environmental safety practices.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience in nursing supervision or administration in a licensed healthcare facility.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures performed within the Center.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
