The Claims Customer Service Rep is to assist with our members in our Ontario location. This position provides valuable customer service to internal and external customers. The primary function of this role is to review all claims.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients and providers calling in by phone
- Address patient inquiries
- Assist with scheduling appointments
- Calling for prescription refills
- Assisting referral team with prior authorizations
- Updating patient EHR (electronic health records)
- Delegating tasks and messages to correct provider
Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1- 2 years of Office or Call Center experience
- Knowledge of ICD- 10 coding, HCPCS and CPT codes
- Must be Bilingual; Fluent in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of EMR systems (Plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Access)
Pay Rate: $19 - $20/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ( Remote)
