Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Oak Room Restaurant Chef will lead a newly formed team who are providing Club Members and Guests with the new, fine dining experience in one of our dining rooms, the Oak Room is anticipated to go live mid-September.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of culinary professionals including hiring, training, motivating, and teaching.
- Develop prep list, order food, prep and prepare all food needed for fine dining venue. Naturally able to work to required timelines while upholding quality standards.
- Work with the Executive Chef with menu planning, menu development, costing, and execution.
- Maintains and upholds professional standards of conduct and appearance.
- Manage against established food cost goals helps ensure that financial goals are attained.
- Instrumental in working to maintain harmony in the kitchen and relationships with the front of the house.
- Assists in the overall supervising of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
- Oversees the process of food products being covered, dated, and properly rotated.
- Ensures that all storage areas, walk-ins, and reach-ins are neat and cleaned on a daily basis.
- Responsible for keeping all commissary food areas stocked, ordered, and organized in a professional manner.
- Oversees set up, break down, and closing procedures and ensures the kitchen is in order and locked up before leaving.
- Be available to work other kitchens and stations as needed during downtimes.
Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience in a full-service upscale dining establishment.
Speaks English fluently.
Thorough knowledge of the back of house operations.
Student/Graduate of an accredited culinary program is preferred.
Experience running a shift without direct supervision.
Able to commute to our location with reliable transportation.
