As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a residential general contracting company, your primary responsibility would be to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company on a day-to-day basis. Some of your specific roles and duties may include:
- Operational Oversight: You would be responsible for overseeing all operational activities of the company, including project management, scheduling, procurement, quality control, safety, and logistics.
- Financial Management: You would oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. You would work closely with the CFO to ensure the financial health of the company.
- Business Development: You would work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company's business strategy. You would identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, and you would help to develop and implement marketing and sales plans to achieve the company's growth objectives.
- Leadership and Management: You would provide leadership and guidance to the company's employees, ensuring that they have the resources, training, and support they need to be successful. You would also be responsible for hiring and training new employees, as well as evaluating and managing employee performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: You would oversee the company's customer service operations, ensuring that the company delivers high-quality services and that customer complaints and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Overall, your role as COO would be to ensure that the company operates efficiently and effectively, that it delivers high-quality services to its customers, and that it achieves its growth objectives.
