Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Genral Manager to oversee our culinary & baking operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing customer service, leadership, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies
- Train and develop kitchen team members
- Maintain quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and work side by side with staff
- Collaborate with the management team to create menus and specials
- Monitor kitchen equipment and schedule maintenance as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager with baking experience or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and understanding of various cooking methods
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in inventory management and control
- Hospitality management experience is preferred
- Ability to develop and implement process improvement policies
Qualifications
- Food service management experience
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management
- Proficiency in kitchen management and food preparation
- Experience in inventory management and control
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Knowledge of Aloha and Micros POS systems
- Hospitality management background is a plus
