Responsibilities:
- Provide direct Assistance with Daily Living Care Services to Residents in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor Residents vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with Resident Assessments
- Collaborate with other Care Staff Professionals to develop and implement Resident care plans
- Educate Residents and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Aliment knowledge: Familiarity with common medical conditions and their symptoms
- Specimen collection processing: Proficiency in collecting, labeling, and processing various types of specimens for laboratory testing
- Experience administering injections: Skill in safely administering injections to patients of all ages
- Resident Care: Compassion and empathy in providing quality care to Residents of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations: Understanding of patient privacy laws and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
