Overview:
Starting Rate: $19/hour
Promote the values, dreams and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities through education and meaningful activities.
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma/GED Additional Shift Details: Saturday 830am-4:30pm, 2:30PM -1030PM - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and commitment to, agency mission and values.

Promote the mission and values of HMEA through effective leadership.

Maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of HMEA and other certifying or regulatory agencies.

Assist and ensure program and consumer funds are handled according to HMEA policies and procedures.

Maintain agency standards for confidentiality.

Represent HMEA and the individuals supported in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Demonstrate effective use of analytical skills, past experience and logic in order to render sound and objective decisions.

Maintain day to day operations in Manager’s absence.

Promote teamwork; practice open communication and respect diversity.

Assist in training staff to develop skills required for professional growth.

Complete required documentation in a timely and professional manner.

Complete required trainings and maintain certifications.

Ensure the people’s rights, privacy and confidentiality are respected and serve as the program Human Rights Officer.

Promote the health and well-being of the individuals supported through ensuring quality health care and opportunities for healthy lifestyles and choices.

Assist with the development and implementation of ISP goals and objectives.

Support the individuals to live a meaningful and socially rich life through planning and preparation.

Ensure that the home is well maintained and that it promotes a positive image for the individuals who live there.

Encourage and support individuals to make independent choices to the greatest extent possible.

Support the individuals to develop and maintain desired relationships

Perform assigned tasks delegated by the Manager.

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Two years’ experience in developmental disabilities/behavioral health area preferred.
-
Valid driver’s license along with an acceptable driving status.

Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.

Additional specific experience may be required.
