Responsibilities:
- Lead technical development of spine implant systems
- Collaborate with surgeons, designers, and marketers to meet customer requirements
- Generate mechanical designs for precision implants and surgical instruments
- Conduct detailed engineering, analysis, and manufacturing drawings
- Support field surgeons and contribute to process improvement
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
- Perform engineering analyses including tolerance stacks, FEA, and FMEA
- Develop verification/validation protocols and execute internal procedures
- Document data and procedures according to Quality System standards
- Coordinate with vendors for prototyping, manufacturing, and testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
