Job Summary:
Quality control Inspectors are responsible for in process inspections during production (Baseline, Braid, Coverline), incoming inspections of raw materials and couplings, as well as the acceptance and release of finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable standards, customer requirements, SRTP requirements, local and federal laws. Quality control inspectors are responsible to maintain the documents pertaining to the Final Databook, Calibration, Training and the QMS. Quality Control Inspectors report directly to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Complete and maintain inspection reports
- Product testing as required by API 15S and customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain test data for review
- Maintain Calibration records and procedures
- Maintain control of documentation and record keeping
- Perform inspections across all stages of production
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- Able to communicate professionally with co-workers, auditors, other department personnel, delivery drivers
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor or manager, as directed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of measuring tools and test equipment, i.e., Pipe tape and calipers
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
- Must be coachable and open to learning new inspection/ testing methods
- Solid understanding of quality procedures, work instructions and API requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Work and Outlook
- Basic understanding in Adobe Acrobat
- Innovative thinking regarding problem solving, technics and solutions
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be coachable and open to learning new inspection/ testing methods
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain professionalism during working hours
- Maintain attendance as well as clock in and out when leaving the property

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
