JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Shop Manager, you will lead a team of energetic and hardworking crew members while serving delicious and quality products to our growing local communities. This position is responsible for leading and managing shop operations, staffing, guest experience and satisfaction, product quality, financial performance, healthy crew morale and team development. The Shop Manager advocates for the JuiceLand brand and spreads the JuiceLand mission. This position reports to the Regional Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to manage store operations independently
- Ability to remain calm and quickly resolve any problems that come up
- Ability to analyze problems and make sound judgments based on objectives, risks, implications, and cost
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent guest service skills
- Strong leadership & team-building skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays if needed. Average 50+ hours/week
- 3 or more years of experience in a role that requires frequent interaction with guests, fulfilling the requests of guests and responsibility for addressing guest issues, questions and suggestions
- Minimum 2 years of related management experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Team Leadership & Development
- Implements JuiceLand programs and policies such as training by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives
- Manages with integrity, honesty, knowledge and clear communications that promote the culture, values and mission. Also, encourages the store team to exercise same values
- Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to crew members and leadership to ensure smooth flow of operations
- Constantly reviews store environment to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals
- Actively manages shop crew members by regularly conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve their performance. Manages ongoing crew member performance using testing & evaluations
- Monitors and manages store staffing levels and schedules to ensure crew members are trained properly and standards are upheld in order to achieve optimal guest satisfaction, maintain store operational requirements, and follow policies
- Utilizes existing tools such as email, CrunchTime, Trello, Google Drive, etc. to identify and prioritize communications and regularly uses discretion to filter communications to the store team. Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately - and positively - in order to ensure effective store operations
- Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational efficiency and excellence in the shop. Tools include CrunchTime, Monthly Sales Reports, cash management and inventory management
- Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance
- Perform all cash handling requirements of a manager in charge including closeouts, tips, safe accountability, cash drops, and safe cash-handling practices. Conduct inventories and process orders as required

- Constant standing/walking
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
- Constant computer/POS Register and equipment usage
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
- Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around shop
- Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Constant talking, listening, expressing or exchanging ideas with team
- Occasional distinguishing, with a degree of accuracy, differences or similarities in intensity or quality of flavors and/or odors
