Rate: Starting $25.00+ DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, 30 min unpaid lunch
Overtime: Required as requested by management

Are you interested in CNC based manufacturing and specialty cutting? Have experience working with AutoCAD, CATIA, SigmaNest, and/or Rhino software? Interested in working a project from initial contact through packaging? West Coast Waterjet has an opening for a waterjet programmer/ salesperson interested in a career in the CNC Machining Industry. West Coast Waterjet is a specialty waterjet cutting facility servicing a wide array of clients from architecture and design to aerospace components. Have limited experience in CNC programming, we can train! We are looking for motivated, team-oriented people to join our team! Must have experience in CAD work, prefer flat patterning versus 3D modeling.
Summary Description:
The position of Waterjet Programmer is tasked with programming clients' projects for cutting by waterjet on Flow International machines. West Coast Waterjet programmer will support the sales effort by providing accurate CAD files for use with quoting and cutting a wide array of projects. The programmer may interact with clients from time to time to get answers on technical questions, however, most of the coordination will be done directly with the WCW sales team. Programmers work with the sales and production team to verify tolerances and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Previous experience in waterjet programming is desired, however, experience with programming lasers, routers, or other like machinery would be applicable. A candidate that is proficient in the use of AutoCAD or similar programs to create parts & assemblies would be considered.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Autodesk AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, Rhino (or similar 2D parametric modeler, e.g. LibreCAD)
- SigmaNEST (or similar nesting software, e.g. Mastercam)
- Flow Cut and Flow Path (or similar)
- Creating fully constrained drawings to be sent for manufacturing
- Knowledge of materials, compatibility, and common usages
- Understanding of raw metal capabilities, limitations, and processes
- Project estimation, budgeting, estimation, allocating resources, and proposals
- Microsoft Office Suite
- ERP Software
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in CAD Programming (2+ years)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
