ABOUT THE JOB | As the Construction Operations Lead Coordinator you will assist the Director of Production and the Field Operations Supervisors in the execution of jobs. Manage and work alongside the commercial operations coordinators and assist as needed to coordinate the scheduling details of crews, subcontractors, superintendents, material suppliers and various vendors, under the direction of the Director of Production.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the office support team activity and positions. This includes all timelines for each office position and hold accountable team members that are not meeting them.
- Ensure daily work is covered in the event of a team member absence.
- Assist as needed with coordination and scheduling of jobs and meeting project timelines and organizational deadlines.
- Responsible for ordering of equipment rentals and COI’s for each project when applicable.
- Responsible for weekly reports for applicable projects.
- Communicate and work closely with the Field Operations Supervisor to meet schedule requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure production sheets are completed on each job.
- Ensure all the project file contains all necessary documentation.
- Ensure all Change order requests are documented and reported.
- Maintain and effectively communicate the status, progress to date and expected completion schedule for all jobs to the Management Team.
- Complete daily and weekly reports for clients as required.
- Communicate as needed with customers regarding job status and project milestones.
- Coordinate assigned projects including but not limited to initial set up/staging, material, equipment, dumpsters, metal production, deliveries, canvasing subcontractors, demobilize and close outs.
- Maintain focus on customer service.
- Respond to telephone and electronic communications.
- Perform word processing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative duties.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of construction with knowledge of commercial roofing concepts and details preferred.
- Strong decision making and multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to monitor resources, job schedules, and materials in an environment of multiple competing demands.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
