Responsibilities: As a Digital School Psychologist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine students' strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Providing counseling and support to students who are experiencing social or emotional challenges.
- Participating in virtual meetings and consultations with school teams to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
- Conducting virtual behavioral observations and providing recommendations for interventions.
- Assisting in the development of school-wide programs and strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid New Mexico School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a digital or remote setting.
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and caseloads.
- Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate technological tools for remote work.
