Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data into our systems.
Duties:
- Computerize data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
- Perform order entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize Excel for data entry tasks including creating and managing pivot tables.
- Conduct basic math calculations as needed for data entry accuracy.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files for easy retrieval.
- Work with databases to input, update, and retrieve information as required.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Assist in data collection and verification processes.
- Maintain organizational standards to ensure data integrity.
Experience:
- Proven experience in data entry or related clerical roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Excel, including pivot tables, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts for calculations during data entry processes.
- Ability to organize and manage files efficiently.
- Experience working with databases is a plus.
