The Eastern CT Association of Realtors is located in North Franklin, CT. We are a membership/trade association and real estate school with a professional staff of 4, serving the needs of over 1300 Realtors and Affiliated businesses in Windham and New London Counties.
We are looking for a Communications & Education Coordinator to join our team to help create and implement educational programs for our students. The ideal candidate will be articulate, organized, computer/tech-savvy and adept at creating interesting content. The successful candidate will be energetic with a passion for learning. This is an exciting position, with never a dull moment!
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee all functions of the ECAR Real Estate School
2. Plan and execute ECAR Communications, including marketing, media relations, newsletters, general mailings, news releases, research activities, publications, online materials, and social media
3. Acts as staff liaison to selected Committees.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee the Real Estate School
a) Responsible for scheduling, advertising, marketing, and executing all educational courses.
b) Promotes education offerings, including the prelicense school.
c) Works with the Membership Manager to ensure courses are available for registration, and uploaded in the Ramco AMS system.
2. Administer ECAR Communications and marketing
a) Coordinate, formulate, design, and implement marketing strategies for products, programs, and services of the Association.
b) Manage the design and production of all publications and online materials provided by ECAR in a manner that maintains the brand integrity of ECAR and that accomplishes Association objectives within the operational budget.
c) Promote REALTOR® and Affiliate membership. Assist in generating non-dues revenues through sales of sponsorships and other programs.
d) Coordinate direct marketing efforts for ECAR membership meetings.
e) Enhance the general public's knowledge and appreciation of REALTORS® and what they do.
f) Update easternctrealtors.com as needed
3. Staff liaison to Affiliate, Community Outreach, and YPN Committees.
a) Acts as staff liaison for the aforementioned Committees.
b) Sets agendas, notifies Committee and provides background information as requested.
c) Takes minutes of meetings, publishes minutes to committee members, and maintains committee files.
d) Schedules and attends events as needed.
e) Evaluates potential member benefits and present them to the Member Services Committee.
f) Assists the Committee with other marketing projects.
4. Other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
Experience in real estate, association management, administration, or education is a plus. A college degree is not required if you have proven experience and/or native ability in the areas listed above. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
