We are looking for a Quality Support Engineer to provide primary support for first and second shift manufacturing operations. The role requires flexibility in working hours from day to day or week to week and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer primary support for first and second shift manufacturing operations, demonstrating flexibility in working hours.
- Support multiple programs and projects concurrently.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute quality metrics for assigned programs.
- Create part inspection plans for incoming inspections.
- Conduct final product inspections and lead customer source inspections when necessary.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Previous experience working with prime defense contractors.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including internationally (up to 5%).
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of Access Database is a plus).
- Experience in quality assurance within a defense manufacturing environment, with a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
