Responsibilities:
- Territory management and business development throughout New England, including CT, MA, NH, RI, VT, ME.
- Sales management and business development in retail, promotional products, industrial market segments working directly with existing customers to grow sales, brand equity and market share.
- Prospecting and developing new partnerships in all market segments.
- Provide account management and business development expertise in all product categories to meet or exceed annual growth plans.
- Provide continuous account support and align objectives and strategies to meet stated goals and objectives.
- Plan and implement strategies to identify and create new business and/or new customer opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and product development on new product ideas based on understanding of customer’s needs.
- Strong working knowledge of online retail and digital commerce
- Ability to utilize proprietary sales tools (CRM) to understand account base and prioritize activities
- Willing to travel 50% for customer meetings, prospecting, and trade shows
Requirements:
- A thorough understanding and drive to grow profitable sales
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skill set
- Proven successful track record for pioneering new sales
- Entrepreneurial outlook with a sales orientation
- Prior sales experience in Mass Retailers, Promotional Products, Sporting Goods, Farm & Ranch and Industrial market segments
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales management in apparel, workwear or footwear
- 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Base salary and commission commensurate with experience.
- Requires 50% travel
