**Job Overview:**
Join our healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients. This role involves assisting with therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring patient progress.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with patients
- Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitor and record patient progress accurately
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulations for patient care
**Experience:**
- Experience in hospital medicine, outpatient, or orthopedics preferred
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy and physiology beneficial
- Familiarity with occupational health and geriatrics a plus
- Ability to work in acute care settings effectively
- Understanding of anatomy and musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience in working with diverse patient populations is advantageous
