Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies throughout the plant.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and efficiency improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and problem-solving.
- Utilize Lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, and standardized work to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address bottlenecks, constraints, and inefficiencies
- Lead and mentor a team of production managers, supervisors, engineers, and operators in Lean principles and practices.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to empower employees to contribute to process improvements and problem-solving.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Implement robust quality control measures, error-proofing techniques, and preventive actions to minimize defects and rework.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve supplier performance.
- Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and risk management throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational benchmarks to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to align plant objectives with overall business goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years Transformer manufacturing industry management experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Fluent in speaking Spanish

Pay: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
