Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, this role requires a professional and welcoming demeanor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk and patient flow, answering phone calls, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental receptionist role and be familiar with computerized systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for patients and visitors.
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Use computerized systems to check-in patients, update their records, and perform data entry tasks.
- Utilize Google Suite to schedule appointments, manage patient calendars, and maintain accurate records.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, mail sorting, and other office duties.
- Assist with event planning and coordination as needed.
- Greet patients and visitors in person, providing excellent customer service and ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the reception desk and waiting room.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coverage and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as a front desk agent, dental receptionist, or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with computerized systems, including phone systems and calendar management.
- Proven customer service skills and experience working in a fast-paced medical or dental environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data entry, Google Suite, and ChiroTouch is an asset.
