We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Social Security Disability Application Specialist.
Job Description:
As a Part-Time Social Security Disability Appplication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their Social Security Disability applications and appeals. This hybrid position allows for mostly remote work, with one day per week required in the office to complete necessary tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Filing Social Security Disability applications and appeals for clients.
- Managing and organizing client documents.
- Communicating with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and scanning tools to prepare and submit documents.
- Ensuring all applications and appeals are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proficency in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and scanning tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manager time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work.
- Previous experience in a legal or Social Security Disability setting is a plus, but not required.
