The Multi-Agency Alliance for Children is a non-profit organization committed to creating positive outcomes for vulnerable youth and families. Our mission is to coordinate resources, information, and a network of quality providers. We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant, who will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the Executive Director and other executive leadership team members.
Job Purpose:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Executive Director and the executive leadership team by maintaining accurate records of meeting minutes, ensuring timely project reporting, supporting in development needs, and supporting the Executive Director in all Board Meeting preparation, documentation, and activities. This role is crucial in supporting the implementation of process improvements and ensuring the organization's strategies are aligned with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the managing of the Executive Director’s calendar and planning of internal and/or external meetings.

Organize and prepare for meetings including but not limited to, support in drafting, and reviewing communication on behalf the Executive Leadership Team, scheduling internal and external meetings, and ensuring materials needed for them are provided.

Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, data entry, reports, and other documents for the executive leadership team.
- Receive incoming communication or memos on behalf of the Executive Director or members of the Executive Leadership Team, review content, determine importance and summarize and/or distribute contents to appropriate staff.

Performs additional duties as assigned by executive leadership team, including special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Essential:

High school Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field (preferred) or 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, or similar software with ability to learn new or updated software.

Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Preferred:
-
Experience in non-profit financial management, including grant management and preparing financial statements.

Knowledge of the Georgia Child Welfare and Mental Health System and/or non-profits.

Familiarity with Adobe, Paycom and web-based data systems (e.g., Donor Perfect, Salesforce).

Notary in the State of Georgia
Work Environment:
This role is based in Downtown Atlanta. The position requires in-office presence Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm to effectively support the team and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
