Facilities Maintenance Technician
Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Pay Range of $24.00 to $28.00 + $2.00/hour Shift Differential

What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on building infrastructure and equipment.
- Monitor and perform non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Perform building maintenance activities.
- Set-up, move and/or repair office furniture.
- Assist in caring for campus grounds.
- Inspect and maintain roofing system.
- Assist in maintaining water treatment & storage systems.
- Ensure facilities are safe and clean. Observe and report hazardous conditions and recommend improvements.
- Respond to emergencies such as alarms, floods, and equipment failure.
- Use Maintenance Management Software to create job tickets and document work assignments and tasks.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company requirements.
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to read and work from basic mechanical drawings.
- Familiar with basic mechanical repair practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with equipment such as air compressors, boilers, and HVAC units .
- Forklift and-personnel lift licensed or ability to obtain these licenses.
Physical Requirements:
Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work and with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to climb and work at high elevations.
