Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab work
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons
- Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major orthopedic surgeries
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Stay current with advancements in orthopedic care and continue professional development
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Physician Assistant license in [Your State]
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
