Job Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in account records.
Duties:
- Process and post incoming payments accurately and efficiently
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed or missed payments
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable
- Assist in the preparation of invoices and statements
- Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial analysis
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software for efficient data management
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients regarding payments
- Experience as a clerk handling financial services tasks
- Ability to perform account analysis for reconciliation purposes
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles is advantageous
- Strong negotiation skills to handle payment discrepancies effectively
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or related field preferred
- Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain accuracy in tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
