Job Summary:
The Warehouse manager will oversee all warehouse operations to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory and equipment is processed according to schedule. In addition, the warehouse manager is responsible for supervising all material management staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, handling & disposition of product & materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current within the companies ERP system – SAP
· Works closely with the Production Manager to ensure a smooth flow of parts and finished products.
· Inspects & maintains physical conditions of the warehouse & equipment.
· Prepares Purchase Order Requisitions for supplies and equipment within SAP.
· Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities including production, sales, records control & purchasing.
· Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts & reconciles with SAP.
· Promotes and maintains a safe working environment.
· Directly supervises all warehouse employees. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies & procedures.
· Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, interviewing, orienting, & training employees.
· Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, & discipling employees.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent with SAP or similar ERP System.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three years related experience required.
Experience operating a forklift.
Experience working in SAP.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel & bend.
Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
