Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and possess a strong skill set in geriatrics, medication administration, and medical records management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in diverse healthcare settings such as inpatient units, occupational health clinics, and Level I Trauma Centers.
- Perform medication administration following established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct physical examinations and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Proficiently phlebotomize patients for diagnostic testing.
- Manage durable medical equipment (DME) and ensure its proper use.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patient documentation.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in geriatric care to provide specialized nursing services to elderly patients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly in Level I Trauma Centers.
- Proficiency in occupational health practices to support workplace wellness programs.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedural care.
- Competence in medication administration adhering to dosage and timing requirements.
- Skill in phlebotomy techniques for blood sample collection.
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) management for patient support.
- Capability to conduct thorough physical examinations for accurate patient assessment.
